Embarressing Mum
28 March 2022 So, Mother's Day was yesterday. It was glorious weather - the sun was out, I wore a T-shirt! This weekend I have worn a T-shirt - no jumper- for the first time in 2022. We had lunch in the garden twice and had the firepit lit in the evening. It feels like summer will be with us soon. My son was playing rugby. He's an incredible rugby player. My husband had been asked to referee the game; He loves 'ref-ing.' Our boy says he is good at it, brilliant in fact. My daughter, fabulous cook that she is, made a chocolate mousse as a special Mothers' Day treat. It was delicious. It led me to wonder...Son does marvellous things with a rugby ball, my husband with his whistle & my daughter in the kitchen (she gets this off her Dad) - I would say they all have a gift, but what is mine?
